WEEK 11 PREVIEW

No one clinched last week meaning there are still 6 playoff spots available, but as some teams inch closer the hopes are fading for others. Here is what we can expect in Week 11…

After pulling out a huge win last week, ERIC’S E-ALLS will be hosting those Beer Bottles from Brooklin - 3RD AND LONG. Despite having the second highest score in the league last week, Ryan lost his second match of the season but was still able to hang onto first place after his cousin Ross came up short on Monday night. With the Colts on a bye they’ll be without RB Jason Taylor this week, but will be getting their best player back - Tyreek Hill, the top receiver in all of fantasy football. The second best receiver is on the other side for the Eazy E’s. Keenan Allen scored 41 points for Eric in last weeks victory, the second time he’s scored over 40 this season… but he didn’t practice yesterday and is still listed as questionable. If healthy he could make a huge difference.

STRAIGHT OUTTA COUGHLIN takes on the LAS VEGAS SUN WORSHIPERS in a match that features last year’s Bundy Bowl champ and Toilet Bowl loser. Last time they faced each other was over a year ago - in Week 10 of 2022, and it turned out to be the biggest blowout we’ve had in the ICLAFF so far… a 130-36 ass whooping by SO-CO. Things could be different this time around, the Worshipers are coming off their best performance ever last week where they scored an all time high in points, and pulled off a huge upset over the first place team. They will need someone to fill in at RB1 with Alvin Kamara and the Saints off this week, he has been quite dependable for Rich putting up 15 points or better in every game but one that he’s played in. Aside from that we all know the Worshipers success is usually dependant on what his Dallas players do. This week the Cowbitches have the 1-8 Carolina Panthers, so that’s definitely encouraging news for Rich looking to get revenge for last year’s 94 point loss.

The OTTAWA ROSS RIDERS hit the road to face the CRYSTAL LAKE SLASHERS. The storyline for this one was supposed to be how the Riders had a chance to tie the longest ever ICLAFF winning streak against the team that currently held that record… but Ross went and fucked all that up by losing last week. It’s still a big match - the 7-3 Riders were within just 6 points of taking over first place last week, while the 4-6 Slashers are suddenly the hottest team in the league having won two straight and averaged 122 points per game over the last 5 weeks. It’s hard to believe they’re still down there battling it out in the Finkle Four, but with another win and some help they could find themselves back in the top 8 by Tuesday morning. Glen will need someone to step up for WR Chris Olave. He has been huge in their last two wins, but is off on bye this week. Ross will be without the services of RB Rhamondre Stevenson, but will be getting WR AJ Brown back from a bye. There could be some big numbers put up this week by both sides.

J-OSHAWA ALLEN heads down to the US to battle the STAND ALONE AMERICAN. Coming off a disappointing loss, Mike’s squad will be in tough this again this week with his top RB and WR out on byes - Bijan Robinson and Michael Pittman Jr. All of J-Oshawa Mafia is praying that QB Josh Allen can have a bounce back game against the Jets. He wasn’t great on Monday night, and last time he faced Jets in the opening week he scored only 9 points. With all the streaks that ended in the ICLAFF last weekend, Rick now has the longest one with 3 straight losses. He knows he’s running out of weeks and needs to get on tear soon to have any shot at playing for the Bundy this year. He will look to strike early in this match tonight with his QB Lemar going against the Bengals… and then on the weekend he has some big guns in action under the lights in prime time games with TE TJ Hockenson on Sunday night, and WR Devonta Smith in the Monday Nighter. You might have to stay up late to see how this one ends.

Fresh off picking up their first win in six weeks, PURDY GOOD will be hosting HOOKED ON A THIELEN who is trying to lock up their spot in the Bundy Bowl playoffs. Even after his best game of the season last week, Shawn is still the lowest scoring team in the ICLAFF - one of only two teams yet to score 1000 points. He’ll be going against the league’s highest scoring team this week… Don’s Purple T’s who have put up 321 more points than Purdy Good so far this season. There is talk that scoring help could be on the way for Shawn with Justin Jefferson being close to getting back in the lineup, but it doesn’t appear it will be in time for this match. Don could get big lead with two stars in action tonight - TE Mark Andrews for the Ravens, and WR J’Marr Chase for the Bengals who is projected to score really well. Shawn will try to answer tonight with WR Zay Flowers, and then will need to pour on the points Sunday afternoon because Don finishes with 3 more of his big horses going in the Sunday prime time game - RB Javonte Williams, WR Jordan Addison, and his new QB Josh Dobbs.

Looking to build on last week’s victory, MARC’S FUNKY BUNCH hosts the DARTH RAIDERS. It’s desperate times for the D-Raiders. Last week Howie had just a 14% chance of making the playoffs, but after another loss to Purdy Good it’s now down to just 4%. They’re now 3 games out of a playoff spot with just 4 weeks to go, so they pretty much need to run the table and hope a couple of teams ahead of them completely collapse. The Funky Bunch are now 5-5 and have had little time to savour their big upset win over Ottawa, because this week’s match is just as important if they want to make the Top 8. After this week’s clash against the last place D-Raiders, The Bunch close out their season with 3 straight matches against top 4 teams so it’s time to get funky!
